How CompassQuote Began

With the advent of the Internet the insurance consumer has become empowered to conduct research and save huge amounts on their insurance costs. CompassQuote is an independent insurance broker representing many of the top insurance companies in the country. No longer are you stuck sitting there in front of your local insurance agent who can only quote rates from only one insurance company. The truth of the matter is different insurance companies specialize in certain products, and the amount consumers can save can reach into the neighborhood of 70%!! And these huge savings are from insurance companies that are among the top rated companies according to top 3rd party rating services like Standard & Poors's, Moody's Investors Services, Fitch, and A.M Best.
Now just because you can view rates from all the top insurance carriers doesn't mean the consumer will choose to apply with the best insurance company for his/her individual situation. Like we said... certain insurance companies specialize not only in certain insurance products, but also certain niches. While insurance companies are reluctant to start an all out price war, they are willing to better serve certain niches concerning their underwriting guidelines. For example: Company A will have more lenient guidelines relating to those taking blood pressure medicine, while Company B will not penalize applicants that are taking medication for depression.
